A bit of a review: 1Q84

This is the world of 1Q84 where Aomame (which means green peas) stumbles into by climbing down a ladder in Japan. 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami is a great story intermixed with mystery and interesting events. It frequently refers to 1984 by George Orwell and from that you get the feeling that something strange is watching the characters progress, even if it isn’t Big Brother. An acquaintance of mine once compared Baltimore’s offerings to a thrift store, meaning you had to dig under the city’s gritty, faded surface to find its hidden gems. Read .mobi books on your Kindle Fire

I just got a Kindle Fire for Christmas. I am very happy with it because it does what it is supposed to do and I have the Amazon store behind everything I do, which makes it simple to get the things that I want.
