Sherlock Holmes influenced Fifty Shades of Grey


This video from PBS explains how it isn’t as farfetched as it seems that the bestselling paperback Fifty Shades of Grey is related to Sherlock Holmes by way of fan fiction. Our dear Holmes has had lives in other books by many authors and it all came about because Sir Arthur Conan Doyle killed Holmes off. People were upset and brought him back to life in a number of other ways. We’re still watching him solve mysteries in movies and on the small screen.
