Vincent Van Dominogh

Over 7,000 dominoes (7067 to be exact) take a long time to set up. It takes even more time if you want to make something out of it. Just ask Flippycat, an artist who takes dominoes and arranges them all sorts of ways. Check out Flippycat’s enormously successful experiment in turning van Gogh’s “Starry Night” into a still life video of amazing talent and patience. Despite a few setbacks, one involving a screw falling from the camera mount, the video seems like one that even van Gogh would like.

Flippycat also did “Domona Lisa” of the Mona Lisa and the TARDIS, pictured below.
