“Warrior”- Mark Foster, A-Trak & Kimbra for Converse

(Image care of Converse.com)

Mark Foster (of Foster the People) took a break from embarrassing himself singing Beach Boys covers to help DJ A-Trak make a song for Converse. And I’m not mad! “Warrior” is pretty damn good: up beat and vaguely electronic sounding. It features a whole lot of Kimbra–who’s no stranger to Rhyme et Reason readers. And this time it seems she isn’t doing her best Katy Perry impression (see: “Somebody I used to Know”) so her personality shines.

Check out the video which has the trio fighting in an underground lucha libre wrestling ring. #peroquééé!?!

The song is available to download FOR FREE over at Journeys.com–you know, because they want you to buy some shoes.
