Kim Jong Il Is Dead

So North Korean “dear leader”/dictator Kim Jong Il died yesterday of an apparent heart attack (which is suspiciously vague–although I don’t especially care.)  The North Korean media would have you believe his death was due to “overwork” after “dedicating his life to [starving] the people."  (Couldn’t help myself.)

His son, Kim Jong Un, will succeed the famously unstable Kim Jong Il.  Soon after his father’s death North Korea test-fired a short-range missile into the Sea of Japan.  Understandably, everyone is worried as North Korea has quite a few nuclear weapons and never technically stopped warring with their neighbor to the South…
