Rhyme et Reason’s love for Swedish pop music knows no bounds. Seriously, almost every song/artist we’ve been obsessing these past few years was made in Sverige.
We’re not convinced there isn’t something in the water over (and up) there because it seems like all the Swedes know how to do it right. The beats. The vocals!
El Perro Del Mar, fronted by Sarah Assbring, is no exception to the Swedish tradition of mastering all things cool. EPDM ‘s latest single “Walk On By” from the forthcoming Pale Fire is a hypnotic early 90s-inspired song which makes me think of Sade in a major way. Assbring’s voice is much sweeter though no less sexy.
