We don’t always write about events that we attend that aren’t directly related to some other pop culture or music thing that we are obsessed with but guess what? Some of us enjoy beer and, these days, craft beer aficionados are a subculture unto themselves. We haven’t had the magic
kool-aid beer that has pushed us into the depths of craft beer-hood but we do enjoy a high ABV if we can find one. Okay, okay, I’m just talking about me.
The Good Beer Festival was held at Pemberton Park in Salisbury, Maryland last weekend. It was packed, no- overflowing with good spirits and many people. For the low, low price of $20, and your sobriety, entrants were able to have a “taste” of the variety of delicious beers on hand. I don’t have specific numbers but every line, after 2pm, had about 20 people in it. That was about 15 people more, per line, than last year and happened to be 20 people too many for my liking.
Some notable favorites were:
Dogfish Head Beer - Punkin Ale and Bitches Brew
Flying Dog Brewery - Doggie Style
The music was good and the weather was wonderful. Try to make it next year and we’ll see you there!
