Solange Knowles is no Beyoncé and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The singer-songwriter-fashionista-it-girl-dj-hipster-icon ditched her big label for her friend’s indie imprint Terrible Records and has been quietly making tracks. (It certainly didn’t hurt that the friend plays in Grizzly Bear…) Anyway, her new material is a dream.
